This benefit is provided to the female secured worker in the event of death of her husband. The seasonal female employee is entitled to Iddat Benefit to the same extent despite termination of seasonal employment during the period of iddat. The employer will not refuse for iddat and shall also not account for such leaves towards leaves provided under any other law for the time being enforced.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

1. Claim for Iddat benefit on Form B-28.
2. Certificate of employment on form B-28A.
3. Social Security Registration Card (R-5) / Benazir Mazdoor Card.
4. Copies of CNIC of widow/female secured worker and her deceased husband
5. Computerized Death Certificate of her husband.
6. Computerized Marriage Certificate or evidence of marriage.

TIME LIMIT:

The claim should be filed within 15 days of the date of death of the secured person.

ENTITLEMENT:

The claimant must be a female secured worker.

RATE:

100% of the wages last drawn by the female secured worker.
