Injury Benefit

A secured person who is incapacitated from work as a result of an employment injury arising out of or in the course of his employment, shall be entitled to claim injury benefit.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

  1. Employer’s report of accident during the course of employment on prescribed form B-3 within 24 hours to the Institution.
  2. Employer’s certification of employment and last rate of wages paid or payable on prescribed form B-2.
  3. Social Security Registration Card (R-5) / Benazir Mazdoor Card.
  4. Medical Certificates issued by the authorized Medical Officer on form M-1, M-2 and M-3.

TIME LIMIT:

The claim should be filed within 07 days of the date of first certificate of incapacity (M-1) issued by an authorized medical practitioner of the Institution.

 

ENTITLEMENT:

180 days (maximum).

 

RATE:

100% of the wages last drawn by the secured worker.
