Minister for Labor and Human Resources Sindh and Chairman Governing Body Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESS) Mr. Saeed Ghani has said that providing quality, timely and modern medical facilities to workers is the top priority of the government, and to achieve this goal, effective steps will be taken under public-private partnership to develop SESS hospitals on modern lines.
He was presiding over the 176th meeting of the SESS Governing Body, which was held at the SESS Head Office. The meeting was attended by Secretary Labor Sajid Jamal Abro, Commissioner Sisi Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro, Vice Commissioner Sikandar Baloch, members of the Governing Body Sisi Engineer Abdul Jabbar Memon, Danish Khan, Javed Balwani, Khalil Baloch, Muhammad Khan Abro, Abdul Wahid Shoro, Zahra Khan, Mukhtar Hussain Awan, Medical Advisor Dr. Kamran Awan, Director Contribution and Benefit Waseem Jamal, Director Medical Administration Dr. Saadat Memon, Director Finance Asad Haider Abidi, Director Procurement Dr. Ikram and other concerned officers.
The meeting formally approved the minutes of the 175th meeting of the Governing Body, while a detailed review of the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meetings was also taken. Furthermore, important issues related to the revised budget for the financial year 2025-2026, appointments of consultants and surgeons in the medical wing, and institutional reforms were considered.
The meeting also took important decisions regarding the one-year internship program, reorganization of local directorates, and improving the performance of various departments of the organization. Apart from this, other administrative matters were also considered.
Chairman Governing Body Saeed Ghani directed on this occasion that the quality of treatment in all hospitals of Sisi should be further improved and collaboration with the private sector should be promoted to ensure the provision of modern facilities, so that the workers can get international standard medical facilities.

The worthy Commissioner visited each and every section of all three facilities and appreciated the administrative measures taken by the Medical Superintendent of the Kidney Center and the CMO of Landhi Circle.
The worthy Commissioner, Mr. Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro, visited today (Friday, 27.03.2026) the Landhi Circle, Kidney Center, and the newly established Central Medical Store located at the Kidney Center. During the visit, the worthy Commissioner issued directives to the Engineering Department, SESSI Head Office, regarding certain civil and electrical works at the Landhi Circle, Kidney Center, and the Central Medical Store.
The worthy Commissioner visited each and every section of all three facilities and appreciated the administrative measures taken by the Medical Superintendent of the Kidney Center and the CMO of Landhi Circle.
The Finance Committee meeting of Sindh Employees Social Security Institution was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner SESSI Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro at the Social Security Head Office in which members of the Governing Body Muhammad Khan Abro, Abdul Jabbar Memon, Zahra Khan, Medical Advisor Dr. Kamran Awan, Director Finance Asad Haider Abidi, Director Contribution and Benefit Dr. Ghulam Dastgir, Director Medical Administration Dr. Saadat Memon and other officers of the SESSI Head Office participated.
The meeting reviewed the contribution target given in the annual budget of Sindh Social Security and the expenditure so far.
In the meeting, the Finance Committee approved the revised budget, which will be submitted to the next meeting of the SESSI Governing Body for formal approval.
